Youth Golf League Columbus Indiana: Fall Junior League for Ages 13–18
Team up. Tee off. Compete. ⛳
The courses are about to close for the season, but that doesn't mean your golfer has to put the clubs away. The ChampionZone Fall Junior Golf League is an eight-week youth golf league for teens in the Columbus, Indiana region, and it's the best way to keep your swing sharp all winter long.
From October 26 through December 14, players ages 13–18 will grab a teammate and go head-to-head with high schoolers from across the region, all inside on our Golfzon simulators. No cold weather. No rain delays. Just real golf, real competition, and a whole lot of fun.
Who Can Play
The league is open to golfers ages 13–18, and any two players can team up. Beginners, recreational players, school team golfers, and serious competitive juniors are all welcome.
Don't have a teammate? No problem. You can register on your own and we'll pair you up with another player.
How the Youth Golf League Works
Every week, your two-player team plays a 9-hole round on a new course. With 300+ world-famous courses in our Golfzon NX library, you might play Pebble Beach one week and St Andrews the next.
Scoring uses the Stableford system throughout the season, with Best Ball and Scramble rounds mixed in to keep things interesting. Your first three rounds establish your handicap, so newer players can compete right alongside experienced ones.
ChampionZone keeps track of all the stats and standings, and prizes go to the top three teams at the end of the season.
Play on Your Schedule
Teens are busy. School, practice, jobs, and everything in between. That's why teams get to book their own weekly tee time. Play any day or time that works for you, with one exception: league play isn't available after 5 PM on Friday or Saturday.
Just reserve a simulator bay for your weekly round and plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in and warm up. Two players can typically finish 9 holes in about an hour.
What It Costs
No hidden fees here.
$49 per round per bay, which comes out to about $24.50 per player
$25 one-time player buy-in, and every dollar goes straight into the prize pool for the top three teams
Extras for Players, Parents, and Coaches
This league is about more than scores. Here's what else is included:
Player Meeting and Orientation: All players and at least one parent attend a kickoff meeting before the season starts to go over team setup and simulator rules.
Free USGA Rules Clinic: A complimentary rules workshop for all league players and their parents. It's a great way to learn the game inside and out.
A Free Hour for Coaches: Every team's head golf coach gets one complimentary hour to test the technology, practice, or get familiar with the simulator.
Good to Know Before You Play
Golf attire is required for all league play. Please clean your clubs before you arrive, and wear golf shoes or tennis shoes (no sandals or open-toe shoes).
Every Round Gives Back
ChampionZone is a proud partner of Folds of Honor, which provides educational scholarships to the families of fallen and disabled military service members. Every round your golfer plays helps support a military family. That's what we mean by play with purpose. 🇺🇸
